Supported through InvestEU, the EIB Advisory will support the Czech government in developing a strategic framework for the affordable housing sector.

With the support of the InvestEU programme, the European Investment Fund (EIF) will provide the Catalan Finance Institute (ICF) with a capped portfolio guarantee that will leverage €64 million in support of social enterprises and entities within the cultural and creative sector in Catalonia.

The Commission slightly amended the 2nd Calls for Expression of Interest, both for the Fund and Advisory with new cut-off date of 5 April 2024

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing a loan of close to €45 million for an innovative geothermal heating project Eavor-LoopTM in the German state of Bavaria. The EIB loan comes with a guarantee by the European InvestEU-programme.

The Fund supported by EIF has a target size of €500 million and is backed by the InvestEU programme. It will contribute to decarbonisation, renewable energy production and security of energy supply.

Backed by InvestEU, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a €40 million loan to the Austrian-registered Eldrive Holding GmbH to install 8 472 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Bulgaria, Lithuania and Romania over the next three years.

The gigafactory will produce 3GW of clean energy capacity by 2024, becoming Europe’s biggest solar panel production facility. The overall financing secured for the construction and operation of the 3Sun plant is partly backed by InvestEU.

The European Commission and NIB have signed an InvestEU guarantee amendment whereby NIB becomes implementing partner also for Norway and Iceland.
