NIB has signed a 13-year DKK 182 million (approximately EUR 24 million) loan with Sindal Biogas A/S. The investment will co-finance the expansion of the Sindal Biogas plant in Sindal in northern Denmark, doubling biomethane output from 22 to 44 million Nm³ per year.
The EBRD is providing a portfolio guarantee of up to €98.5 million to Piraeus Bank in Greece, with support from the EU through its InvestEU programme. The facility is expected to encourage up to €500 million of new investment financing, contributing to the country’s green and digital transitions.
