In an important step to support investment in Europe, the European Commission and the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group have signed an agreement that increases the EU guarantee by around €5 billion, unlocking €22 billion in additional financing from the EIB and EIF under the InvestEU programme.
The EBRD and the European Commission are strengthening their cooperation to support investment in the Bank’s EU countries of operation under the InvestEU programme. This will increase EU guarantees by €478 million and funding for advisory services by €11.4 million.
